How To Apply EBB In Large Areas For Anti-Mold Projects
Non-toxic. Zero VOCs. Tips to improve results for residential or commercial mold removal jobs.
This article and video briefly describe how to apply our long lasting mold preventative in large areas. It’s a simple process. Application tips are also discussed.
First of all, since Endurance BioBarrier is non-toxic and has no harmful fumes, you don’t need to spend time and money investing in protective gear when applying. This is a big benefit for consumers and professional mold remediation contractors alike.
It’s completely safe for people, pets, plants, and the environment.
And remember, Endurance BioBarrier provides the longest lasting protection against germs, too.
So when applying, be sure to cover all surfaces where you desire the longest lasting protection possible against microbes of any kind.
Here are a few examples of large areas where EBB can be applied to kill mold and germs and prevent regrowth.
Attics, basements, crawl spaces, floors.
Entire bathrooms or even living area rooms that have musty odors.
Vinyl or wood siding and eaves.
Roofing of all types, plus gutters.
Wood, vinyl, brick, stone, or stucco walls or fences.
Tiled patios, patio furniture, patio furniture upholstery.
Commercial applications where mold, germs or musty odors are a problem such as locker rooms, laundromats, entire hotel rooms, public bathrooms, cruise ships, daycare centers, you name it!
For large application areas we recommend using an airless hand pump pressurized sprayer. You can also use a fogger machine. A fine mist nozzle is best for the hand pump sprayer, but a heavier setting is best for a fog machine to ensure a proper coating of all surfaces. Be sure to flush the sprayer or fogger nozzle with fresh water when finished.
We have a few of the highest rated hand pump pressurized sprayers and foggers available in our mold product and equipment webstore on this site.
It’s a smart idea to wear latex gloves and at least an N95 dust mask whenever using a misting sprayer or fogger. You can find highly rated safety gloves and respirator masks in our webstore as well.
Here are some application tips.
Before applying on enclosed surfaces, be sure to fix any leaking or standing water problems.
Also, for best results, whenever possible we recommend that you first clean away visible dirt, grime or mold using Endurance BioBarrier Cleaner Prep or your favorite non-bleach cleaning product.
If not possible, no worries. Endurance BioBarrier will fight microbes on any surface it can adhere to.
As an added benefit that saves valuable time, you don’t need to wait for surfaces to be completely dry after repairs or cleaning, before applying Endurance BioBarrier.
When applying, mist all surfaces just enough to become slightly damp.
If you overspray, gently wipe up excess product that may form into pools.
Allow to air dry.
If desired, to ensure that all surfaces have been properly coated, scan them with a black light. Protected surfaces will glow. Yet another unique, added benefit exclusively offered by Endurance BioBarrier.
Finally, when finished, be sure to flush the sprayer nozzle with fresh water.
We guarantee it.
